Heeeello!
It's a new year and time for another journal entry. Yes, I'm alive an well. Lots of changes last year.
My boyfriend and I moved in together in October and we've never been happier. Our apartment is still a mess because I couldn't move around very much in a boot cast to unpack things. Safe to say that gave me mild depression, because when you want to move around and you can't it definitely affects your mood. But it's slowly coming together.
We rescued a stray that was found around our apartment complex. Sadly we aren't going to keep him as we really don't have time for a cat. My county has made him extremely difficult to find a shelter (nearly all shelters in Oregon, at least near the city I live in are no kill shelters) because the only county shelter only accepts dogs. *sigh* All the other cat shelters are very picky about what cats they can take. Craiglist also takes forever. Soooo the process of finding him a new home is taking a lot longer than me and my boyfriend expected. Luckily, Harley is a suuuuper chill old man cat.
As for art. I haven't been doing much. I've been mostly helping my boyfriend with his youtube video thumbnails and that's been the closest to digital art for me these days. HOWEVER, I have found a new passsion; acrylic paints. I've never been much of person for traditional media, but my mom took me to Paint Nite, which is basically a super beginner class for painting. We have a picture in front of us and we have to paint. The instructor goes step by step on how to paint this picture. It was super fun and I learned a lot. It's to the point where I got acrylic paints for christmas so I can start making my own art. I already have a few things in mind that I want to try and paint, but I'm not ready as I don't have brushes, an easel, or a kitchen table for that matter. But it's coming and reeeally can't wait to explore this new medium.
I'm definitely not ready to give up digital media, but I need a change of pace that will ignite my passion for art again.

Making art again and current life
Hello followers or anyone who stops by!
I still live after four years since my last post. Some things have changed, others have not. Most notable change is this damn pandemic. I have been very fortunate that nothing changed with my job. I work for a small online business that has taken extremely good care of us employees. Example our hours were reduced but our pay only took a small hit, and the business is still doing well.
I still live with my boyfriend still in the same apartment. 8 years together this August. No plans for marriage ever, which is fine by me. Never could picture myself in a wedding dress. No plans for kids either except fo
Happy New Year!
It's been a long time since I've posted anything. Over a year in fact. Not to say I haven't been here on DA lurking about. I usually am a few times a week. A lot has happened since the last post. Here are some my highlights:
1. Meeting my boyfriend. We've been dating now for the last 4 1/2 months. Keeps me quite occupied ;) We met on OKcupid and was actually the second person to contact. Took a chance on him and now I couldn't be happier. I love him so much! I'm so I could bring in the new year with him
2. Sky diving!!! That's right, I jumped out of a plane. If it weren't for a couple of friends to convince me, I would have never do
RIP Tobi and Hello Paprika!
I have a new computer!!
About a week and half ago, my pc laptop battery decided it didn't want to charge anymore. Bought a new battery and that didn't work. I guess the problem had something to do power supply to the motherboard or something to that extent. I don't know. I'm not a computer techy. I just translated what was said to me as my dell is dying there's no hope.
Luckily, I have an amazing friend, architexture (https://www.deviantart.com/architexture), who not only convinced me to get a Mac, find me one on craigslist, managed to bring down the asking price down by $50, AND set it up for me with everything I need to start off with. It pays to know someone who's worked fo
I LIVE!!
Holy shizznat Batman! It's been 9 months since I last did a journal entry.
I just want to let you all know I live. In fact, I'm on DA practically everyday. I haven't been drawing lately, at least, not since January. I just haven't been inspired. I have been getting some inspiration, but it's a slow process.
Well, life since last year has been work, work, anime, and a couple boys in between ;) Later this summer I'll be going to Europe, probably for the last time for a few years. For now, the Rose City Rollers championship is this weekend and my favorite team, the High Rollers, is competing for #1! So excited!!!
Anywhoozles. later!
